Satfinder Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application “Satfinder (Dish Pointer): Quick Dish Align!” ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by Artemkaxboy. The Application is designed to help you align a satellite dish using GPS in your mobile device.

What information does the Application request and how is it used?

User Provided Information

The Application requests user’s location while working in GPS-on mode to place you on Google maps, so you can correctly align a dish. This information is neither stored inside the app or sent to any third party.

Other than location, no other personal data is requested or collected by the Application.

Advertising and Automatically Collected Information

Upon installation of the Application your device automatically sends certain information to our advertising partner AdMob. Beside AdMob we do not forward your details to 3rd parties or use it for targeted advertising.

AdMob is an advertising service provided by AdMob Google Inc. Please read this overview of how they use information from sites or apps that use their services.

Advertisers who serve ads may use technology which can uniquely identify mobile devices to deliver better target messages and control number of times you get an Ad. Ad Networks may access your unique device identifier through their own technologies and use it to target advertising to you.

Advertisers make available links through advertisements or otherwise enabling you to access third party sites, tools or games. Please note that, while using such sites, tools or games, you are not affiliated with or controlled by us.

Personalised Advertising:

The shared information include, for example, the name of the app, the device type, and the advertising ID.

The information gathered is used to provide relevant ads based on user interests and behaviour associated with that particular advertising ID.

Non-Personalised Advertising:

Non-personalised ads are ads that are not based on a user’s past behaviour. They are targeted using contextual information, including coarse (such as city-level) geo-targeting based on current location, and content on the current site or app or current query terms.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We do not retain User Provided data.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing," means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in Russia. If you reside outside Russia your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under Russian privacy standards.
